In anticipation of the upcoming Halloween season, DementedFX is thrilled to announce a unique promotional campaign centered around the launch of our chilling new children's book, Goodnight Defect. This spine-tingling tale, perfect for horror enthusiasts of all ages, is now available for purchase.
To make this Halloween season even more thrilling, we're launching a special sweepstakes with a $500 grand prize in cash and two lifetime general admission tickets to Bio Med Corp’s Haunted House presented by DementedFX! The sweepstakes is open to participants in all 50 states, ensuring everyone has a chance to get in on the fun, no matter where they are.
To enter, purchase a copy of Goodnight Defect and complete the entry form with your information in-person. If you have an online book purchase, you are automatically entered into the drawing from your order information. No purchase necessary.
Eligibility:
Open to participants 18 years of age or older.
Limit one entry per person.
Employees of DementedFX, its affiliates, and their immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) are not eligible to participate.
Sweepstakes Period:
Begins on September 13, 2024 and ends on November 2nd, 2024 at 8pm EST.
Winner Selection:
Winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. The drawing will be held on November 2, 2024, at 9:00 PM EST. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
The potential winner will be notified via provided email or phone number within five (5) days of the drawing. The winner must respond within seven (7) days to claim the prize. If the winner does not respond within this time frame, the prize will be forfeited, and an alternate winner may be selected.

1. SPONSOR:
The “Goodnight Defect Sweepstakes” (the “Sweepstakes”) is sponsored by DementedFX Inc., located at 530 Main Street, Holyoke, MA (the “Sponsor”).
2. ELIGIBILITY:
The Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the 50 United States who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees, representatives, and agents of the Sponsor, their immediate family members, and those living in the same household are not eligible to participate. Void where prohibited by law.
3. SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD:
The Sweepstakes begins on Sept 13, 2024, at 12:00 AM EST and ends on November 2, 2024, at 8:00 PM EST (the “Sweepstakes Period”).
4. HOW TO ENTER:
There are two ways to enter:
A. Purchase Entry:
Purchase a copy of the children’s book “Goodnight Defect” from DementedFX and complete the entry form with your information. If you have an online book purchase, you are automatically entered into the drawing from your order information.
B. Alternate Means of Entry (No Purchase Necessary):
Method 1: Submit a photo of yourself (no one else) dressed in a Halloween costume and email it to promotions@dementedfx.com with the subject line: Goodnight Defect AMOE Submission along with your contact information (phone number, email address and name) in the body.
Method 2: Display a branded DementedFX sign in your yard or house, take a photo, and share it on social media tagging DementedFX. Screenshot the post and email it to promotions@dementedfx.com with the subject line: Goodnight Defect AMOE Submission along with your contact information (phone number, email address and name) in the body. Branded yard signs are available free for pickup at our 530 Main St, Holyoke, MA location by appointment.
Limit one entry per person, regardless of the method of entry.
5. WINNER SELECTION:
Winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. The drawing will be held on November 2, 2024, at 9:00 PM EST. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
6. PRIZES:
One (1) Grand Prize: $500 cash and two lifetime general admission tickets to DementedFX’s Bio Med Corp Haunted House located at 530 Main Street, Holyoke, MA 01040. Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): $500 plus the value of lifetime admission.
Lifetime General Admission Tickets:
Scope and Use: Lifetime general admission tickets are valid for entry into the Bio Med Corp Haunted House only, and are not transferable to other events, attractions, or future iterations of DementedFX or its affiliates that may be different from the Bio Med Corp Haunted House experience.
Non-Transferable: Tickets are non-transferable and cannot be resold, exchanged, or assigned to any other person or entity. The tickets are valid only for the winner and one guest per visit.
Winner Presence Requirement: The winner must be present with a valid photo ID to redeem the tickets. The guest can only enter with the winner present, and no substitutions for the winner will be permitted.
Restrictions: Tickets cannot be redeemed for cash or any other value and are subject to availability, operating hours, blackout dates, and other conditions set forth by DementedFX.
Lifetime Definition: “Lifetime” refers to the lifetime of the Bio Med Corp Haunted House attraction as operated at 530 Main Street, Holyoke, MA. In the event that the Bio Med Corp Haunted House ceases operations permanently, relocates, or significantly changes its theme or brand, the tickets will be considered void without compensation or replacement.
Behavior and Conduct: DementedFX reserves the right to revoke admission without compensation for any reason, including but not limited to disorderly or inappropriate behavior, violation of venue rules, or failure to adhere to ticket guidelines.
Modification Rights: DementedFX reserves the right to modify or discontinue the use of lifetime tickets at any time, with reasonable notice, for reasons including but not limited to venue closure, operational changes, or abuse of the ticket privileges.
7. WINNER NOTIFICATION:
The potential winner will be notified via email or phone within five (5) days of the drawing. The winner must respond within seven (7) days to claim the prize. If the winner does not respond within this time frame, the prize will be forfeited, and an alternate winner may be selected.
8. PUBLICITY RELEASE:
By entering, you represent and warrant that you have the right to submit the photo(s) and grant full permission to DementedFX, its representatives, partners, and any third parties, including but not limited to media outlets, to use, modify, edit, reimagine, or otherwise utilize your submitted photos for promotional, advertising, or commercial purposes in any media, without compensation or further consent. Your likeness and submitted materials may be used in perpetuity in any and all forms of media now known or later developed.
9. PARTICIPATION CONSENT:
By submitting any contact information for this promotion, participants agree to receive marketing communications from DementedFX, including email marketing. Participants may opt out at any time without affecting their participation in the Sweepstakes.
10. GENERAL CONDITIONS:
Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Sweepstakes if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond Sponsor’s control impairs the integrity of the Sweepstakes, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion.
11. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY:
By entering, participants agree to release, discharge, and hold harmless Sponsor, its affiliates, agents, and representatives from any liability, claims, or damages arising out of participation in
the Sweepstakes or acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize.
12. DISPUTES:
This Sweepstakes is governed by the laws of the United States and the state of Massachusetts. Any disputes shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate state or federal court located in Massachusetts.

Your likeness may be used in perpetuity in any and all forms of media now known or later developed.
3. INFORMATION SHARING:
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to third parties except for the purpose of administering the Sweepstakes or if required by law.
